The Betulla store is a wide space where fashion meets architecture. Clothes, colors and materials all melt in order to create a magic flair that reminds of northern lands. Grey concrete and rough wood, cover the walls while contrasting with the floor’s total white. Clothes are hung on an iron structure and look like precious sculptures emphasised by the rough walls veneering.
Betulla è un ampio spazio dove la moda incontra l’architettura. Abiti, colori e materiali si fondono per dare vita ad un’atmosfera magica che richiama lontani territori nordici. Il grigio del cemento ed il legno grezzo trattato a calce, rivestono le pareti creando un forte contrasto con il bianco totale del pavimento. I vestiti sono appesi ad una struttura metallica che li rende del tutto simili a preziose sculture stagliate contro la texture dei muri.

The house renovation included the complete reorganization of interior spaces, as well as the design of new furniture and lighting. The project’s purpose is to create a balance between the rustic ancient building structure and the modern style of the interior.
Quando una struttura antica incontra uno stile moderno ed essenziale può nascere qualcosa di magico. In questo progetto abbiamo infatti cercato un equilibrio fra due realtà lontane che si sono ricongiunte in sintonia con le esigenze della committenza.

Main characteristic of this project is the huge day area, which is connected to the kitchen’s open space. A generous natural light underlines the large perspective and the strong colors.
La principale caratteristica di questo progetto è l’ampia zona giorno direttamente connessa allo spazio comunicante dedicato alla cucina. Una generosa illuminazione naturale sottolinea l’ampia prospettiva e i colori forti scelti che caratterizzano l’appartamento.

This apartment (located in the historical center of Rome) has been completely reorganised and modified in the interior distribution and style. The use of warm colors and materials had the purpose to create a cousy environnement while opening the space and emphasising the existing ancient building’s structure. The lighting design played a very important role, beacuse the apartment itself doesn’t have a generous natural light. The recessed lighting spots and the use of walls that emphasise the space’s depth, opened the volumes and underlined the main furniture elements.
Questo appartamento situato nel centro storico di Roma, è stato completamente razionalizzato nella distribuzione interna e modificato nello stile. Utilizzando colori caldi e materiali dalla forte personalità, è stato creato un ambiente accogliente che ha aperto gli spazi e valorizzato la struttura antica del palazzo. La luce artificiale ha giocato un ruolo fondamentale poichè l’appartamento non gode di una generosa illuminazione naturale. L’uso di punti luce ad incasso e di quinte strutturali dai notevoli effetti scenografici, ha ampliato la percezione degli spazi e valorizzato le componenti progettuali e di arredo più importanti.

The storage rooms of this ancient Roman market have been transformed into a modern work space. The project’s purpose is to create a strong contrast between the existing ancient structure and the new interior architecture.The difference between the two functions—storage space during the past centuries and creative space today—is suggested by two parallel design approaches: on one hand, the intention of preserving the original building’s characteristics, and, on the other hand, the need of inserting new and recognisable elements.
Un antico magazzino utilizzato per il ricovero dei carri del mercato di Piazza Vittorio a Roma è stato trasformato in un moderno spazio lavorativo.L’obiettivo è stato quello di creare un forte contrasto fra l’involucro della struttura esistente e la nuova realizzazione architettonica.Il contrasto fra le due diverse funzioni ha dunque suggerito due approcci progettuali paralleli: da un lato la conservazione delle caratteristiche originarie e dall’altro l’inserimento di nuovi elementi contemporanei fortemente riconoscibili e caratterizzanti.

X Loft apartment located in Trastevere. An old Roman apartment, previously organised around a dark corridor, has been completely transformed into a large and light space, which generates wide and interesting perspectives by emphasizing the existing columns’ structure.
Un vecchio appartamento, precedentemente suddiviso in modo tradizionale attorno ad un corridoio cieco, è stato completamente trasformato creando ambienti vasti, luminosi e dalle ampie prospettive.

The terrace overlooks some of the most fascinating and breath taking Roman ruins.It has been reorganised by creating different functional areas through the use of water and delicate materials.
La terrazza si affaccia sulla spettacolare vista di alcuni fra i più importanti monumenti della capitale. Gli spazi sono stati organizzati creando una differenziazione delle funzioni attraverso l’uso di specchi d’acqua e materiali delicati ed aerei.

The ancient structure of this three story building, will be emphasised through a new architectural language. Its hidden garden will become the heart of the living space, through a new light stair that will offer a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
L’antica struttura di questo edificio a tre piani, verrà messa in risalto attraverso l’inserimento di un linguaggio architettonico nuovo. il suo giardino interno diventerà il cuore dello spazio abitativo grazie ad una nuova scala che offrirà una bellissima vista sulle montagne circostanti.

The apartment’s main characteristic is the presence of a long corridor that can’t be modified. Thus, it has been emphasized through the creation of a long pillars’ row. In this way, it becomes part of the livingroom that has been completely open in order to underline the relation with the garden.
La principale caratteristica di questa residenza è la presenza di un lungo corridoio che non può essere modificato. La scelta progettuale ha dunque trasformato questo elemento nel punto di forza dell’intero spazio grazie alla creazione di un motivo architettonico costituito da una fila di pilastri collegati fra loro da una trave.
